Michelle Linn-Gust, Ph.D., never intended to inspire anyone but herself. It was in her junior high (and then high school) running career that she began posting quotes, photos, song lyrics, and anything else she could find to keep herself motivated. Then it was the journalism and writing career she dreamed of that led her to always ask the ultimate question: What motivates someone?
Her journey took a twist when her younger sister Denise died when Michelle was twenty-one. Instead of traveling the journalism and fiction novel road, Michelle found herself teaching and coaching high school students and then writing several books about coping with suicide loss. In the process of this journey that took her around the world, speaking to people of all walks of life, she found herself returning to her writing fiction, wanting to be true to her dream since she was six years old.
With her lessons of grief behind her, go with Michelle on her journey to inspire us to live joyful, happy lives. That transition begins with the publication of her eighth book, Conversations with the Water: A Memoir of Cultivating Hope, published in December 2012.
